WHO’S THAT GIRL?
Eva Wolfe was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2013 with symptoms including an ataxic walk, vertigo, extreme fatigue and numbness.
After a roller-coaster decade long health journey trying three conventional treatments, multiple diet changes, herbal detoxification protocols, and psychology support systems while also working in a corporate role and becoming a mother, she received the results of an MRI in February 2025 showing she has “resolved” the largest lesion on her brain.
She is a passionate advocate of functional root-cause medicine and of our body’s innate capacity to self-heal.
TERRAIN THEORY
Terrain Theory emphasises the body's internal environment (or "terrain") as the primary determinant of disease, rather than external pathogens like viruses or bacteria.
Gut Health and the Microbiome:
Research shows that gut dysbiosis and intestinal permeability ("leaky gut") play key roles in autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. These findings align with Terrain Theory’s emphasis on internal imbalance (Kikuchi et al., 2019).
Toxin Exposure:
Environmental toxins like heavy metals, BPA, and pesticides have been shown to disrupt immune regulation and trigger autoimmunity, supporting the Terrain Theory perspective that external pathogens are less important than internal conditions (Vojdani & Kharrazian, 2020).
Lifestyle Factors (Diet, Stress, Sleep):
Diets rich in anti-inflammatory foods, stress reduction, and proper sleep can improve immune regulation, potentially reversing autoimmune flare-ups. Terrain Theory sees these lifestyle inputs as essential for restoring the body’s internal balance.
MISSION
My mission is to guide people suffering with chronic illness towards the root causes of their condition, offering lifestyle strategies supported by clinical research and traditional practices supporting them in activating their self-healing superpower.
